The truth is that it depends on your business model's complexity and your time constraints. There are 10 Modules with additional "Show Me the Money" Units. One module is dropped every week. Take as much time as you need to complete the course.

Every business plan has a specific format. As the initial investor, you are the primary investor. You and the bank need to know the same things. Who is the target market? How many revenue streams can it create? What are the start-up costs and ongoing operations costs? What is the potential profit? What will be the initial and ongoing marketing costs? Can the business be scaled? Are the distribution channels defined, and how will that affect the consumer price? It is a step-by-step process. One-part builds on another. We will give you templates and other ways to help you write the plan.

The simple answer is everything. Every decision you make either makes you money or costs you money, often both. What is your break-even point? What are your start-up costs? Can they be scaled down? What are your fixed expenses? If you have inventory, how much do you need initially? What are your sales projections? Are they based on data or hope? The list goes on. In the Plan Forward class, we introduce you to them. We will offer other secondary courses if you need or want to know more. Please don't get overwhelmed. Always remember it is a process.
